Interesting Fire extinguisher

Just bought one of these emergency devices. This is part of the plan to have a small access gromet in the engine lid over the exhaust and carb side in case of ‘issues’. Bit difficult in a Commer to tackle if a fire did start up and there’s a lot to go up at that side of the engine!
This would start up, stick it in the hole and then runs for about 15 secs On its own, no residue and should give time to get out and get the proper extinguisher on It if still Required.

 
I think they’d go off all the time with the heat under a Commer. These solid fuel ones have good reviews especially in a tight space and won’t ruin the engine like standard ones can. Loved the idea they’ll self run so wedge it in and leg it :) and no use by date I think
 
Yes there is but shouldn’t need maintenance and should last longer, think they advise 10 years on similar products but guess need to put some warranty date on it.
