insurance value?

Will do as part of the campaign, but need to show credentials behind estimated values in writing[V]. Going to print out a few finished ebay listings as well, but not many for sale at the mo so if anyone still has any finished listings lurking around in their ebay watching section, would appreciate having the details. Only one I had was the side door white camper reg starting in 'TCH' which went for 1,600 ish without MOT and in need if interior renovation.
 
Typical, don't seem to be many campers for sale on ebay at the mo so still stuck with my insurance value on £500 - has anyone seen any classified ads anywhere or have any ideas how I could get a value in writing? all suggestions very welcome[8)]
 
Hi studio,does it say in your policy something to the effect that they will pay market value in the event of total loss ? I would not be happy with my ins if I was being given all this trouble!!I would threaten to take my custom else where [V] I have never had any trouble increasing value, usually over the phone.If you are near the end of the policy might be worth waiting till then,but if I remember correctly you have insured bessie recently,perhaps ask for agreed value.Martin did say he would help didn't he ? hope this helps.
 
Yes have just renewed and had lots of hassle with renewal (still rumbling[V]) but difficult to take custom elsewhere because it the only company that will touch a commer any of my local brokers deal with. Prefer going through a broker because they have more clout when you get hassle and it's their phone bill that gets the 20 minutes of rickety vivaldi as played by an ice cream truck recordings whilst holding;).

Will keep trying, not sure how much of a spot it is to put anyone in to ask about value in writing, but definitely no commer dealers in this area I can ask[:0]

Policy does say will only pay up to maximum of agreed value:(

stay cool woolfman[8D] emailed you earlier to let you know having a photo session this evening, they are uploading as we speak and on the way at commer speed. will put on to your welding party thread as soon as the hamster has put enough speed into the wheel powering my computer:)
