Imp National 2013

Heidi I & Mr J took a trip to the Imp national in Perth this weekend. Mr J behaved himself clocking up 600 miles with the portafold in tow without an itch

We also bumped into a few Friends

Also lurking in the back ground was a white van wearing a woolly hat

In case anyone is wondering the guy in the passenger-seat is none other than Al Petersen from Seattle, also a CommerVanFan!

Summer's Coming

The night camping at Martin's was hard. As soon as I started to pitch my tent the heavens opened. I was then forced to accept a very generous offer of the use of the spare room in the house which was gratefully accepted.

Next Grace made dinner for us a very relaxed and pleasant evening was spent in front of the telly with a few drinks. I like that sort of camping!

I planned to leave early in the morning but the Imp refused to start but Martin came to the rescue and we were on our way in about 30 mins or so.

The Imp ran well all weekend giving me an average 46mpg over 1,150 miles of very mixed driving (not quite as good as the Super-Merc's 50mpg equivalent but I'm happy with it). My Bazebo experiment was an abject failure so the trailer-tent will be back for September.

Panky, it was suggested that you should get an Imp!
