Ignition key and barrel needed

For those of you who met me in Wales last year, and were amused when I retold the story that I cannot drive and turn the lights on as I feared turning the ignition off, now I can't turn the ignition off!!! Something is wrong inside the barrel and she just won't stop. Does anyone have an ignition barrell and key for sale? Happy new year all!!! [:X]

Hmmm, thanku. Had to leave key in it, spooky as the ignition key turns on with no key in place!!!

Does the whole switch turn or just the barrel when the key is turned?

Hey there, when you turn the key and push the button, you start the engine but when you reverse and turn the key back, she stutters but does not stop and ignition light stays on. This is seperate from the switch which controls the lights, as this still works independently and correctly. the worst thing you take the key out and then the ignition light comes on and you can start the camper keyless. Who says you need modern keyless technology!!!!!!

Hmmm - unfortunately it does sound like an internal problem as you said:I Sorry I can't help with a replacement. If all else fails it would be possible to wire up a remote 'ignition on' switch

Thanks anyway, just noticed x2 barrels on eBay, items 201011257691 and 201011258723, do you happen to know if either of these would fit?

I couldn't honestly say. It will be similar - but it could be the internals of the switch itself that is at fault rather than the barrel:I
