I need an exhaust manifold too please.

It`s time to get the old girl back on the road so could anyone help out with an exhaust manifold please. Mine broke 2 years ago:I and although it has be brazed up I`m not convinced it will last.

Cheers if you can help, Guy:)

I think i can help you out there Guy :)

Cheers for the reply. As much as I`d like a stainless system fiscal restraints make a std item the better option. If memorey serves you offer a porting job to free up a few more ponies:) I`ve already got a stainless system to attach, 1/4" bigger I think.

If you can help out that would be super:)

Cheers, Guy.

Just been underneath mine and seen the exhaust has been almost flattened at the bottom of the downpipe. God knows how or what the previous owner may have hit to do it. Also the box has a few pin holes appearing.

What options are there for exhaust systems?

The most popular conversion is upgrading to an 1 3/4" RC40 system off a Mini. I went rummaging around a friendly exhaust warehouse and sorted out my own:)

I think Speedies still do originals but if you need to change it anyway why stick to the 'pea-shooter';)

Can't say for sure but it's the traditional choice and Jennings are a traditional coach builders:)

A hooooge thanks to Tim/Chris for the manifold, it arrived safely today:) Very very pleased indeed.

Also found this on the net:

She has been off road for a number of years and looks very unloved, the cab is
steel and
has deteriorated but the bodywork of the conversion is aluminium on an ash
frame. the
paintwork is coming off but the aluminium is fine underneath. Not sure about the
condition of the wooden framework

Best ask for "Your first woodwork book" by ladybird for fathers day...:D[:0]:)
