I need a diff

Hi Nancy after you of course:) must be something about the exeter triangle and commers I reckon. I think mine is probably a chrysler as it has a chrysler plate under the seat but I dont know so I took some pics. I have found a couple of dodge scrapper vans near here but one is in a hedge and the scrap guy isnt keen to drag it out and at the other there is never anyone there but I'll keep trying. here are the pics what do you reckon?

Good news is there are two vans with Diffs unknown condition...it would probably be better for some one else to come forward with offers of diffs if possible guy's [?]
failing that you are welcome to arrange to pop round with us & have a look see if we can get them off ? would be more than happy to pack if Tim wasn't so busy at the mo...
talking of exeter triangle thats when Sybhil started to make a noise [:0]Did wonder if I would make it home..I have since driven her & she's not as poorly as first thought still no diagnosis though:(

I guess its not that impossible to find one at a breakers yard either...?

Ben, not sure from your pic which kind it is, my mechanic identified mine from the workshop manual... I don't know much but i understand that there are two different kinds and that it is the actual diff that slides in the back on the salisbury one and the chyrseler one is fully contained in a unit with the prop attachment on it aswell, making it easier to change..

can't wait to have tramps back on the road. I've been living between the mechanics yard and my mums sherpa...
living is alot more comfortable and relaxed in tramps... but the travelling bit is more straight forward with the sherpa...

Nancye, all the ones we have are front loaders the same as yours,so no problem there, its just getting around to pulling one out :I
