Horn wanted

Hi

Does anyone have a horn for a '72 van as mine seems no longer to work and want to get it sorted before the MOT.

Many thanks,

Tim

Unusual for a horn to just pack up, have you checked all the connections? Sometimes the little spring loaded contact under the horn push can get stuck.

mine farted then packed up... I had a set of Maserati airhons in the garage...... They are now on the van.[}:)]

I sorted my garage into 4 piles of stuff.
1. Stuff I`m keeping
2. Stuff I`m not getting rid of.
3. Stuff I might use..one day.
4. Stuff that might come in handy.

If it is knackered then any 12v horn should do. After a near miss with a big truck on the motorway I fitted a Stebbell Nautilus - they can hear me now[8D]

I had one of those on a car years ago. Really REALLY loud. the only downside is you need to press the horn 2 seconds before you need it... It takes time to get the pressure[8D]

Hi, on closer inspection I nearly got it all working but the plastic sheath around this contact has broken so this contact is not working. Do you know if there are alternatives? It;s the only think I should need for the MOT.

Cheers,

Tim
