Go on spot the Commers

Moley and Brian the Snail :)

I spot a very nice V Range Commer lorry belonging to 'Bakers Bacon', perkins 6354, 7/8 tonner.

Very nice.

kjh;)

..and a rushed glimpse of a luton van at 2:50 :D

Apart from that, I'm of course overly excited about the brand new Saab 99 and Renault 16 seen among all the other "older" machinery. ;)

Heehee the Renault 16 was the first car I ever drove, it was my Mum's car - automatic - I was about 12 and we were on an old RAF airforce runway

A student friend of mine - 20 years ago - had a late one with the all too common rust problems.. One day he lost the whole rear axle/suspension whilst driving!! [:0][B)][xx(] Luckily, he didn't get hurt, but he never bought a french car again after that incident.

Interestingly Renaults of the late 70's rust much more than earlier models. It may be because they used to store them in a compound at Southampton which was regularly flooded with saltwater.

'It's not a proper slider'

I remember seeing that on an old Top Gear report, shocking! Especially as they were built with wafer thin metal to begin with.
