Hi all another ?

Hi all had a so called mechanic try to take off the clutch master cylinder but he couldn't get it off , he was supposed to come back to finish the job but never returned ,so I decided to have a go so I got it off only to discover that the bar that pushes into the master cylinder has a slight bend in it,my ?is should it have the bend, if it shouldn't any suggestions on how to remove the bend,as always any help is really appreciated

Also if I need a new one has anyone got one I could buy ,I will need it posted to Dublin Ireland

There shouldn't be a problem just supporting it on a steel block or vice and using a hammer. If you can heat it red hot even better, obviously take the rubber boot off first.
Try Martin Maltas if you need a replacement.
