Hey peeps, so i decided today that the pic i had was rubbish and there is no way for you guys to tell what shape she is in;) this simply wouldnt do. so i decided to drive past and take a sneaky one for you all :D

im looking at paying upto 500 for her but may be cheaper if the guy likes me lol. so let me know what you think.

The peak looks a mess and it looks like the valance is frilly too. Plenty of surface rust around. Hopefully it's sheltered position on a well drained drive will have been kind to its nether regeons:I

she looks a sorry old girl dont she :( the peak is a mess but the surface rust is mainly light, its sitting downhill so i think thats why the peak is so bad, but on the plus side i think facing downhill may have saved the underside [?] i did notice the commer badge is missing [:(!] hopefully all goes to plan and i get it (already got a colour sheme in mind) [8D] but i think the first thing i would do is sand the cab right back to metal and primer it to slow the rust down.
 
Don't leave it in primer, it will absorb moisture and rust under the paint. Better to cover it in a top coat of some sort.

good point, will get some white paint. will look much better, once its done it will be hard to miss lol i decided to let the wife choose the colour. she went on paint and showed me roughly how she wants it.
