Experienced mechanics may only run a mile because they dont know where to get the parts from (inexperienced ones wouldn't have the know how as you cant plug a commer into the diagnostic computer)
If you supply them the parts they will be much more sympathetic.
A lot of mechanics will know that finding parts on the net or phone for classics can take as long or longer than actually fitting them...as "finding parts" is difficult to bill for - thats why they can tend to be not interested. We sell an esoteric range of classic parts at ratsport.co.uk many of which fit commers.
