Hi old chums, long time no see. Just to let you know, The Dog is about to get a new owner after 7 years being sat in my Garden doing nothing. I will try and get the new owner to join the group - be gentle with her!
Blimey there you are, turned round and you had gone How the hell are you
I understand totally, seeing The Dog just sitting there must be hard and upsetting. Time to move on and let someone else get the use.
How has the old bus held up, did you ever get the engine sorted properly - I can't remember it's been a while.
never got round to fixing the engine unfortunately - too many other projects kept getting in the way. The body work has held up well (but needs a good dose of T-cut). It was sat for quite a while with the engine cowling raised - and a neighbours cat came up through the engine bay and moved in and had her kittens in it! - it then became a shed to put all sorts of junk in. Although most of the engine parts are new I think it will need a complete strip and rebuild. New brakes and the clutch overhauling - and the wiring loom sorting. I havent even tried turning the engine over in the last 5 years - it nearly got turned into a tow along hot dog van - but luckily i never went through with it.
