heater or lack of it

hi My van has been with me for two winters now. yesterday me and the kids ventured off to hunstanton we used a campsite with an electric hookup so that we could have a fan heater. however on the way home we were still freezing. the heater is woefully inadequate. I have taken the matrix out and flushed it properly with a central heating powerflush machine and made sure that the hoses are not blocked..etc. I am about to add another heater matrix and blower as the engine produces enough heat. I think i need to replace the door seals aswell as they are draughty. Is this the same story for all the commer PB or is mine just faulty? has anyone else had same or done anything about it ?

Yori was toasty in October - had to wear a tshirt and have the quarter panes open - seems to be a warm air supply nearer to the passenger side.

Maybe it's just an air lock in the heater. Or have you checked the isolating valve on the engine, it might be partially blocked.
Hey Admin was that nice warm feeling just before Yori burst into flames [:0][xx(]

Ran is extremely warm in summer(when driving windows down)!draughty to drive through winter again heater works, can get really warm if the wind is in the right direction,I found draught coming in through a hole in the battery box ns floor behind passenger side, winding windows need trims etc etc so you are not alone!camping nights seems really cold even in summer!!I have looked at the seals all round the roof they need replacing too(the ones when you fold the sides down)also when Tim drove back from tewkesbury I sat in the back with the dogs it was very draughty & cold!seemed to be coming from front windows & side windows, I am waiting for nice weather to clean out channels & seal.
