Heater bits 1980 PB

Looks like I'll be needing the whole shebang..are the heaters any good or might I be as well off adapting summat a bit more modern whilst doing the lot? thanks,Scott

Everybody's heaters are having issues mate. Read through some of the threads to get some ideas, and when you have, post em up cos my heater's shot too HAHAHAHA!!

:D Not so much playing up as totally non existent! Nowt there at all..Thinking might as well knock something up being as dash is non standard..plenty of room behind the panel..

If its made by "smiths" then its not going to work [xx(] best go for something modern that does work [^] late Mini ones are ok

I went to work in the Mini today and the heater was chucking out the heat like a little furnace[^]

As above, Mini heaters are good little self contained units. I've heard Rover 200 heaters are nice small units too, although I've never seen one personally.

Maybe you've got one of the Commers produced without the (optional) heater :D

Actually, it was probably standard fitment by 1979/1980, but is listed as a 13 pound 17 shilling option for model year 1967 (Highwayman) [:0]

Just a thought, but have you checked the tap is in the ON position on top of the block?;)

back to my "rootes"
