Hardly even a project, no giant steps even... but one small one...

Doubt I even deserve to be proud of myself... but I am...

For months now my Volvo V40 has stalled at lights to the point that my wife is considering moving it on. Frustrating as it's a great car - only done 140k and comfy as anything.

The garage has tweaked the ECU in the past but the problem comes back, Volvo at vast expense cleaned the spark plugs and that helped for a while...

...but still the constant requests for change from Mrs M. Fair enough it was annoying...

So a dabble last Sunday on a well known search engine, and a copy of the Haynes manual off a well known auction site, and today an hour underdoing and scrubbing the inside of the Throttle Body...

...so indeed, you've read a longish note, amused yourself that this is Dirty Fingers 101, but to me it feels like a small win...

Well done Edward, something I've never done so I've learned something today:D
It's always very satisfying when your own work pays off:)

my Beemer does that sometimes, the clean out the throttle body thing is something planned for the next service in a few months.
