Half shaft bearings

Hi all, at the weekend i measured the half shaft bearings as i was going to replace with new, but on measuring said item found that the OD was 80mm & ID was 35mm. How can this be, 1971 on, became metric or has the housing been re bored as my van is 1963. Speedy spares can get the bearing but unsure of size, can't find size in parts manual. Can you guys help, won't be able to answer back as going out. Thanks
 
Ours is a '67 and got our bearing and oil seal matched up from a local bearing supplier for very little money
 
The best way to identify bearings is from the number on the side of the outer race :)
