I hope I have put this in the right place??
We are the very lucky new owners of Gladys. She is in the repair shop and has a few issues that we are trying to sort out.
Bernie has been very helpful, but I don't want to keep pestering him.
I've got a list of things that I need from the garage and I am trying to source them from various places. I'm doing OK but I am not 100% sure what I have found is the right part. So .... can someone check before I order please?
If I list the parts one by one with the part number and source I have found is that helpful?
FYI - 1971 Commer PB Wanderer.
1 Clutch Master Cylinder is leaking. Will a repair kit be enough or can you buy the whole thing? Is ours (1971) early or late?
Speedy Spares seems to have Master Cylinder Repair Kit but I worry the time needed to repair negates the saving??

or SSB993 Master Cylinder Repair Kit ( later type, with 2 ring seals) £5
Is there such a thing as a master cylinder?? You may gather I am Mrs Bombus and have no idea about engines and gear boxes etc.
2 The Brake Master Cylinder is leaking
Speedy Spares has Part Number Brake Master Cylinder (75067246) 4211639 £70
Or should we use a Master Cylinder repair kit, Again do we need early or late?
3 We need a clutch slave cylinder.
Speedy Spares has Clutch Slave Cylinder (75067324) LL13312 Speedy Spares £40 We think the gear box is a J?
4 Rocker cover gasket P106897/JM319 Speedy Spares has Rocker Cover Gasket CI Head £4 is this the correct thing?
5 We need a pinion oil seal for the rear axle - not sure about this?? Any thoughts please?
6 And we need Rear gearbox seal where prop shaft slides in. Pic attached. Looks like this is an output shaft seal which I think we can source.
