We use our 67 Commer Autosleeper for local wheelchair/family transport 12 months a year.

However, she now slips out of 4th gear on the overun.

We're not desperate to replace the gearbox it but if anyone has a better one going to Woolfies Coventry Meet...
 
I'll be at Woolfy's meet and I have a spare gearbox that I could bring with me - plus it has overdrive :p.

It's from a Rootes car which have their engine slant mounted, so the bellhousing and input shaft will need swapping from your Commer box to keep it mounted on the vertical. Several people on the forum have made this modification and I'm about to fit one to Hunny shortly too

Had overdrive on 3rd and 4th on a black 57 Rover 105S back in 77.
Aluminium doors, bonnet and boot if I remember correctly. Really miss that car.:(

Unfortunately overdrive would be wasted on us considering our local miles, but thanks for the offer.
