gear linkage repair kit

Hi all.. continuing to have probs with gears.. even tho have replaced slave cylinder.. replacing piping today.. but another guy looked at it and suggested linkages.. is that an easy enough thing?

Yep mm has a adjusting tool iirc

Depends how bad the front and rear linkages are. You can see the front one through the grill or if you lie under the front. The rear gear linkage is on the drivers side by the gear box. Check them for movement, the rubber seals perish.

I've done the gearbox end ones and they are easy. Andrew has done both ends, the front is a little trickier but(and I don't think he will mind me saying) as a complete novice Andrew managed it and did a fine job[^]

All I will say, if you can get a friend to help you with the accelerator rod on the front it makes it a lot easier.

yes I've done both too - the front is ok just fiddly...helps to get someone with small hands in there, Willow perhaps
