Fuel pipe

Hi everyone, it's been a while since I last posted as I've been busy with my old triumph bike but I did read on a post recently about changing fuel lines. Jimmy runs on the stromberg /zenith carb with the ac delco glass top fuel pump. My question is does anyone happen to know the internal bore of the pipe I would need? Jimmy has developed a bit of a problem of spluttering to a holt after being ran then stood for half a hour or so and then driven again, that's when he has issues for a couple of minutes . I've tried all the usual things (I think) but Ive noticed that the previous owner has fitted an in line filter just before the pump and I'm now going for long shots lol. I'm away for the jubilee weekend and haven't got time to be able to measure the pipe as I thought I'd cracked it until late last night. I need to order the parts so they are here at the weekend (I'm away all week) so any help regarding bore size or the fault would be greatly appreciated and yes I would like the su convertion but not this side of the booked holiday. Thanks in advance.

A selection of 6mm (1/4") and 8mm should cover all you need. And get the proper fuel hose clips to suit not jubilee clips - even though they are topical ;)

Do you need a special tool to fasten those types of clips panky?

No just a screw driver
These are the kind of thing you need. The sizes refer to the outside diameter not the bore so be careful when you buy
