Front brake inbalance

Thanks to everyone for the warm welcomes to my first posting.
Is there anything specific I should look for with regards to the brake inbalance? The handbrake is also affected on one side, so perhaps previous incorrect adjustment of that is a contributing factor? Weather permitting, I'll start work on the brakes this evening. All the best, Gary
