7th / 8th November - Bath and West Showground, Shepton Mallet, Somerset.
This show is back up to 2 days this year, was cut down to 1 day last year. Normally quite good, plently of autojumble but a lot of it is packed up early on the Sunday so if your coming a long way try and make it on the Saturday.
Took an autojumble stand at the show, not bad made our money back and a little extra towards the Commer projects. Nice little show but you get to about 1pm on the Sunday and traders start packing up even though the shows on till 4.30pm.
Shame for the paying public really but some traders do have use the reasoning that they travel a long distance or they've made the money and are happy to go.
We only live locally so generally stay till the end, this time though there were only 3-4 stalls left in our hall for the last hour or so.
I made an extra £20 in the last few minutes, that covered all my fuel and cups of coffee over the weekend. I think if theres punters still about you may aswel keep the goods on show, after all if you've got a pitch you want to make money??
