Fitting an aerial

Does anyone have any advice on the best place to fit an AM/FM aerial to a standard Commer PB. Also what aerial is best/better?

There's a whip aerial mounted on the front panel on Bonnie but as the radio doesn't work I can't comment on how good it is

I fitted one of those interior solid state ones to the Mini and it worked quite well but faded in and out occasionally. Maybe a stick on screen aerial would be OK if you don't want to drill holes.

I should have noted I have a stick am/fm aerial on the inside of the glass screen, but it does not work very well. I can get some coverage in large towns but not anywhere else.

Mine had one mounted driver’s side bottom corner of windscreen bodywork. Had hole filled when re sprayed so no pics.
