HI all,
having done over 6500 trouble free miles in oak since may she decided
to though her toys out of the pram,she got hot very quickly and spat her coolant out i switched her off stright away and brought her home on the trailer in shame. presure tested her cooling system with spark plugs removed and found no3 cyl was filling with water, removed cyl head to replace head gasket and get it skimed and hardend vavle seats fitted etc only to find no 2 and 3 piston's have damage.it appears to have been like this for some time.any way at the min i do not have time to rebuild this engine,as always i have a yard full of customers landrovers awaiting my time , so back to the plot i am on the look out for a good reasonbly priced engine if any of you can help please call me on 07976 60 5252 or send a email thanks a lot Richard
