Engine running too cool...

Sometime last year I posted a query about the fact that my engine appeared to be running too cool.

I've never managed to get it to run at "normal" temperature, always too cool, until today when I decided to remove the thermostat...

...just in case any of you have a similar problem.

Crikey what a wierd cause to the problem[:0], usually the other way round and they don't open:I Nice and toasty in the winter now.
