Emergency Wheel change

Hi All,
what do you lot carry in order to change a wheel on your vans in an emergency? I don't have a proper jack yet and was wondering if you lot used other things (trolley jacks/bottle jacks etc). Where does the standard jack live on a camper?

Oh and are the wheel braces supposed to be used with a length of scaffolding bar?! They seem to have the dimensions the wrong way round!

I just have the standard jack that lives in the bottom of the wardrobe. You are right about the wheel brace, I carried a piece of pipe that fitted over the end of brace and came in very handy when my exhaust broke (see Harveys write up on the website) Really you need the propper jack cos when the van is lifted using the jacking points it is a damn site easier to take the wheel off than if you use a trolley or bottle jack under the axle. You would need a very big bottle jack to lift the van under a jacking point.
