Drop Links for 1970 PB

I am in need of a new l/h (near side) drop link. Part number: 1203595 plus some sway bar bushes. P116710.

It’s for a 1970 (1500) Autosleeper with clonky suspension. Anyone any idea how to source these? I can’t see any out there. Though there are some on eBay for a 1959-63 model I assume these won’t fit.

Ah sorry miss read, I thought it was rear ones you needed. I think it's more than likely that the front drop links were all the same on the front also.
 
I have just checked the early parts book on this webpage and the part numbers for the drop links were the same on the pre PA/PB models. So it does seem they were all the same, and luckily there are a couple on eBay. I’ll get one and give it a go. Thanks Panky.
 
Good luck with ebay, I hope they are the correct ones, if not, I got mine from Rootes Parts in Holland, not cheap but at least I got some. Don't know if they have any more in stock. Failing these you could try V & C engineering.co.uk, I got my rear shocks from them and they were very helpful. I don't know if they can supply the links for the front but they might know somebody that can. You could also try The Rootes Heritage Trust to see if they were fitted to any other cars. It was them that put me on to V & C. Hope this helps. We certainly miss Martin and Speedy Spares. When I was looking for my rear shocks I think I came across somebody who said they could refurb drop links, if all else fails I can try and find the address for you. Good luck

hi. The one I ordered looks the same. Arriving next week so I’ll see then.

I have used V&C for refurb if one of my lever arms. They did a great job. If it’s not right I may have a look at the refurbishment options. I could not see any on the Rootes parts website or any of the Sunbeam suppliers. I did also take a look at Humber and Sunbeam Talbot but could not find front drop links. I can’t imagine the suspension being the same though. Sunbeam Talbot may be worth a shout as they have Commer PB delivery van and a stock of RJ Grimes stock when they shut down.
