I've recently bought a Spacevan with the usual 1725cc petrol engine in it. Does anyone know if it's possible to get recon Perkins diesels the same as would have been fitted in diesel Commers from anywhere, and how much they would cost given I wouldn't have an exchange unit. Do the diesel Commers have different gearboxes and what other differences are there? I'm just trying to work out if it would be too much hassle to convert it to diesel.
