Hi peeps. Getting "sky" tomorrow lunchtime. Im still having trouble ageing her properly. It would seem that she was manufactured in 1971 but the plate says "L" and reg document says april 1973. Is there a way to find out when she really was manufactured. If I can prove it was before Jan 1973 my road tax is exempt. Please can you help me all you clever ones out there?

Hi Debs, not sure how to prove date of manufacture -it was shown on my registration documents- so may be on yours when you get them back from DVLA. It may only be on mine because it was registered overseas and then imported four years later so needed to show date. Did previous owners have to pay tax? they may have had the same trouble finding out.

Debs go back & read that other posting the address to write to is on there? does any one know if that address is still valid(it still comes up on the internet search) ps i was worried about paying the road tax on "Ran" but it's only once a year she's worth every penny [}]you wait once you get her you will forget about the tax [:0]

180 gbp for the year Debs 10.00 saving [V]same as a car,my car is tax exempt so for now am ok with taxing "Ran"
