It might be a bit of a dumb question, but how can I open the wooden panel on the middle of my Autosleeper's dash - the one adjacent to the glovebox. It has hinges on it, but doesn't seem to want to open. Am I missing something obvious?

It just needs a good tug, grasp it either end and pull.

Porridge (proper breakfast fuel) only need to give it half a tug (or remove ash tray then give it a big tug)
