Hi Becky. Unfortunately they do go brittle with age and the damage to yours is very typical. After gluing mine together many times I spent ages looking for a replacement and got lucky with finding one on ebay a few years ago. Apart from the bay I can only suggest Martin, but I guess you've already asked him.
If you do eventually find one get it in the sink and give it a good scrub, the surface deteriorates over the years leaving the dull grotty looking finish, the muck that comes off them has to be seen to be believed.
