Commer Walkthrough for sale

I got more details. I have admired the walk thru and not seen one for sale in a couple of years; however I want to get the other two vans "up to par" before taking on another project.

Someone would get a cracker IMHO

It is not tax exempt and it doesn't run. We had it running on easy start a couple of years ago but we haven't really touched it since. You'd probably need to have the injection pump looked at.

It is all remarkably sound and, from a bodywork point of view, much easier (although bigger) to repair than a PB. The worst bit of rot is the rail above the rear rear doors, but it looks to be a fairly simple repair.

I would imagine that you would need to rebuild the brakes for the MOT, but I'm not sure what else. It is probably too big for your trailer, but I may be able to deliver with my truck if you're not too far away.

My landlord has offered £500 for it, but I would like a little more. I went to a great deal of trouble to save it from the crusher and I would like to see someone bring it back to life. Co-incidentally, we now have a mobile mechanic who comes around a couple of times a week and he has agreed to take a look at it when our more pressing jobs are out of the the way. We had considered dropping a Transit engine in it so that it could move about on the film-sets, but as there can't be more than a handful left, this probably wouldn't have been a good idea...

It's filmpropman off of that eBay, he used to sell loads of interesting stuff and had an entertaining way of describing them. Usually just lists modern trucks and vans now [V]

not that I am aware woolfy can give you contact details if you are serious send me a text - good welding practice!
as I said would love it but can't have that many projects on the go

I'm pretty sure I sold this to filmpropman via ebay - would've been about 2/3 years ago...

bought it ebay myself to either do up or use for spares, but on seeing it put it straight back on ebay - decided having one project was quite enough.

if it is that one, i'm impressed they got it to run, since there were bits missing off it and a leaf inside on taking off the oil cap.
