Commer Highwayman Tent and more for sale!

Hello all!

I am having a bit of a new year sort out and have a couple of Commer bits to get rid of if anyone is interested. I thought that I would offer them to fellow Commer owners prior to putting them up on ebay. They are as follows;

1) Original 1970's canvas tent designed for the Highwayman variety of Comer van (I have an Autosleeper so not quite right for mine!

2) What I believe to be an original gas/electric refrigerator in full working order. This has been removed from my van to create more storage space as we don't really use it.

and 3) A front grille (mesh only) in poor condition but with only surface rust which may be of use to someone as a spare.

Just get in touch with me (Jim) over the next week or so if you require all or any of these bits. They've got to go!

Hello,

I have not had a chance to measure the fridge yet due to work, etc. I will aim to do it over the weekend. The best way to describe the size is that it is similar to that of a minibar in a hotel!! To answer your other question I was looking for about £35.00 for it.

Hello,

I do not have any photos of the tent set up but it comes in two canvas type bags and is actually green in colour! It is the real deal as I bought it from a guy who used to have a Highwayman. The original manufacturer's label states that it was made by the company in Coulsdon Surrey who made tents for many such vehicles back in the day. I will try and sort some photos out tomorrow as I am working today!

Thanks for that. Green sounds perfect as we've been looking for one to go with our van!

Let me know what sort of price you're after, and i'll ask permission to spend some more cash (apparently i should be saving for valentines day).

Yes I still have the tent and it is available! Apologies for taking a while to get back to you on this. I was looking for around the £60 mark for it as that is what I paid for it. Hello all,

I have at last measured the mini fridge that I have available. It is an Electrolux and has the following dimensions;

Height - 58.5 cm, Width - 36cm, Depth - 41cm.

As previously mentioned call me on, 07958 373430 if you are interested. P.S. it runs on gas or electic.
