Decent looking truck but £1750 is still a bit steep, although saying that the turntable Commer is quite rare.

I nearly bought this early last year, really nice guy that has it, owned it for quite a few years. Sited in Kent.
Problem with it, is the ladder. Talking to people in the fire service group, they told me that the ladders rot from the inside out [:0] The only proper way of testing them, is x-rays, which costs a fortune. If it's rotten, the 1st time you extend it, it'll collapse [xx(]
So I took the advise and beat a hasty retreat :I

i dont think that part would bother me really as lets be honest whos gonna be going up it to rescue anyone anyway, as long as it looked good done up to take to shows who cares. someone on here mentioned about turning it into a motor home or car transporter the last time it was advertised on here if i remember rightly. nice old bus id love it if i had the cash.:p;)
