hi again, this is for will in staffs i see in one of your posts you wer talking about restoring a coaster conversion.my question is do you still have the van,if so have you got the double seat by the side entrance door.would like to see some photos of said seat in position forward/ backward and lying flat for part of the bed.reason is im looking for one.if i cant buy one i would like to no how the mechanism works.cheers gary:D
 
Hi Garry.. Ive just done a reply to your other post..
Its a bit awkward, as the van is stripped out ready for me to start welding.. And the seat bases are stored up on top of my mates office in his unit, covered in junk.. If you want to come up to Cannock one Sat morning and help me get them down and you can measure them up, You would be welcome.. His unit is between Cannock and Wolves.. Hope this may be of use.. cheers will,i think i got a better understanding on how the seat works ,sounds like the back part is the bit that does all the work and sounds like it slots in for facing foward and take it out and slot in for facing the table,all this with no springs and mechanism is that about right.would be good if you had some photos of the seat,says he being cheeky:Dthanks again gary
 
Hi Garry.. Yes the back of the seat has 2 tubes sticking out
at the bottom and these slot in to slightly larger diam tubes in
the base, either side..
Sorry, its a bit of a pain to get them down to photo them at the moment.. Also our digi cam has packed up..

thats ok will,i think i have a picture in my mind.will be of to scrap yard a.s.a.p to source a suitable seat to convert:Dthanks again gary
