commer autosleeper

I've been around ebay and the forum for a while, but couldn't find "the right" van
I'm looking for a nice autosleeper (no highwayman or something else) in the price range up to 4000 pounds. If someone knows one for sale or want's to sell just respond to this post.

Thanks,

David

Cool! Now you just need to get an Imp and join the Dutch branch of the Imp Club, they like Commers too!

Spare a Commer Guv?
If I told you I was a pathological liar, would you believe me?

Haven't made any of my one yet, but it's on Flickr:

The van was uk registered, went to Spain for a couple of years and has been in Holland for the last 10 years. It even has electric windows! :), it's a manual overdrive model, has an eight track installed en the "old style" dash.
It's rock solid, but stood for some time so will need a good clean.
Some work on the brakes

I worked on this van about 10 years ago, was looking for a Commer and found pictures of it on Flickr, saw it was in the city of Delft and one of the pictures showed a streetname sign.
So drove of and it stood around the corner, little note under the wiper and the owner contacted me a few days later that he was willing to sell. Will collect it around the 20th so more pics then.

Cool. I like the spotlight on the windscreen pillar.

I notice it has a period RAC badge and the steering wheel on the correct side. This will be especially useful when you come to meets in the UK.

From the pictures it appears to be relatively unmolested, with all flutes visible.

You're giving Radar serious competition here! This is 'trackdown proper' ! Congratulations on your result. That really paid off.

Nice van. And, as Panky says, that antenna is wicked !

Good luck with it, and keep in touch. And if you join the Commer club in Holland (you're probably a member already for all I know), you could be the all-important catalyser to bring the CVF and the Dutch Commer clan together. We know there are quite a few Commers in the community down there, and I'm sure we'd all love to exchange knowledge and experiences, or just friendly chat within the "greater Commer family"". :)
