Hi all just looking for some help on how to remove clutch master cylinder , i unbolted everything but yet it still will not come apart. , is the master cylinder screwed onto the the bar that moves in and out , or could anyone tell me how it comes off , the van is a 1961 Commer , any help really appreciated , it just won’t come away from the piston bar any help really appreciated tintop , also anyone recommend a good out door cover for a Commer camper , she is going to have to be outside for a few weeks

There is a clevis pin that connects the rod to the pedal and at the other end there is probably a circlip holding the rod in the cylinder. A split pin stops the clevis pin from coming out, they can be fiddly to get out. I believe VW Type 2 covers fit quite well but only going on other peoples experience. I'm sure someone will confirm soon.

Thank u for reply , sorry for slow response I am moving house at the moment so am all over the place
