You could have tried to nick the chromework but I had the van plugged into the mains to keep thieving fingers away Good show yesterday at Malvern though, met 4 fellow Commer owners, 3 of who are forum members, and bought a few bits and bobs for the van at the jumble although as always there was`nt much around for Commers. Where have all the Commer parts gone??? You used to trip over them a few years back at jumbles now there getting harder and harder to find.

i was working on charlie when i lost all rear lights, on investigation of the problem the non standard headlight switch exploded in my hands resulting in me going to my local scrappy for a similar replacement only to find this Haylett Olympian in very sorry state but with the switch still there what a sroke of luck cos the yard hasnt had a commer in for ten years plus. the light problem was traced to a broken wire disturbed while wire brushing and painting the underfloor:I the sticker was in the middle of the dash but very crumbly
