caravanette seen today

just been down to the local tip,and was nicely suprised to see pull in a beautifull caravanette green/white reg no WMU 438G in case anyone knows it,spoke with its owner who said he bought it in 1987 with the intention of keeping it only 12 months,i do often see it driving about.

in the early 90,s we had for a year or so an ex royal mail postbus dodge reg no REP 630Y, i dont know if its still going.

ill see if i can find a pic of our old dodge, also may have some photos of some BT dodges in my albums,

im located in Burnley, lancashire.

a bit of nostalgia, our local council in the early eighties were running three dodge vans, brown/yellow, AFR 224/5/6V, when we moved house in 1985 and bt came to connect our phone the van that did the job was DODGE CTD 20V, also near here a good few years ago was ex bt dodge VBG 2V,and a freind of ours from Barrow in furness who collects BSA Bantam motorbikes used to transport them round again in an ex bt dodge YHF 256W.

and until about 5 years ago an elderly gentleman drove an ex Norweb dodge simply because of its comfortable drive.
