Hi All,
Just to let you know, I got the bunks from JustKampers (darkside emporium) and thanks to an old IKEA wooden clothes rail, which supplied some wood that fitted EXACTLY inside the poles, I extended them by the required 60mm.

They are all working nicely and the new occupants seem to like them!

I realised a couple of things when fitting them, the original Autosleeper bunks which taper for your shoulders, also taper because this avoids the poptop mechanism at the rear and it allows you to actually put your children on the bunks!

the bunks look great, seems you were having a busy weekend. My kids love my bunks and the taper is an excellent idea, it fooled me for ages when i was fitting the bunks in my van...[8D]
 
Nice one I can see this is one camper that is going to be used to the max.
Is that a look of fear I see in their little eyes, "did you make these Daddy, do you expect us to sleep here all night" [:0]
