Mines been repaired and painted - I imagine to get it 'right' and re chromed is going to hurt the wallet.

Does anyone know of one going in good nick? I imagine they arn't quite 2 a penny!

Re-chroming is very expensive and rarely successful, it doesn't take long for the rust to start coming through[V] Paint what you've got with whatever you paint the van with for now and keep your eyes peeled, so will we

Ours had painted bumpers when it was brand new, so it doesn't have to be chromed to be 'right'.

I don't mind the painted look - so would make life easier I uess.. All the other trim will be there and shiny too.

I've got chrome bumpers but I quite like the painted bumpers. But I wouldn't change from chrome.
