Don't all shout and call me stupid because I already know that but I need some advice. When I am doing my family history I have been having problems viewing some of the certificates clearly. I have been onto Ancestry.co.uk so many times but we have not been able to sort the problem. Anyway, and to cut a long story short, the Ancestry chap who I spoke to today advised me to change from Internet Explorer to Google Chrome, which I have done but it seems so complicated. Has any of the members got any experience of Google Chrome and if so do you recommend it. [^] or [V]

I can't see how changing your browser would make the images any clearer:I Are they blurred or just small?

Some of them don't appear at all, just a grey box, others part of the certificate is clear, other parts like looking at it through frosted glass. As I am familiar with Internet explorer I have uninstalled as much as possible, but Microsoft won't let you delete it completely and now I am going to have a go at reinstalling just to see what happens[!]

I have used Chrome since it was released - much faster than IE. if anything it is more simple than IE - much geekiness lies beneath but it is hidden from the menus better than IE!

I don't use google, I use duck duck go, it's probably not as quick as some of the other browsers but I know I'm not being watched when I'm using it.
