I got stuck for parts for the Morris traveller today, so spent a couple of hours on the van. I removed some awful cupboards that the previous tenant had fitted and found nasty black dry rot!! It's repairable, but just a little disheartening, as the interior did look OK.Nothing that time & money won't put right!!
I've got the water system all operational, and the 12v interior lights, but I've removed the home-fitted mains lights, cos I didn't like the way they were wired. I may refit two of them properly, though.
Gas system test tomorrow ( or Thursday, if the bits come for the Morris), then a quick check and up for Mot next week. Herself is getting quite excited, but I must admit that my super luxury tourer
beckons!!
