Brakew shoes

Juat a quick one, how many types of rear brake shoes are there?

There's at least two, one each for the different drum sizes.

was only aware of two types when I got mine - to fit 14" or 15" wheels - or I suppose you could count ones with meat left on them and the ones without[)]

The brake shoes that I have are 9" x 1-3/4 and they are two big for the drums look any idea what type of axle it could be [?] shoes seem tp be 8" x 1-3/4 [?]

Have you got front shoes and are trying to fit them on the back ?

All front shoes are 10"x2-1/4 [8)]

I did check them with the fronts fronts are a lot bigger

Got the brakes sorted Dora HAS THE 15 CWT axle which have 9 inch drums. A nice man in Bolton marched them up to day. This also could explain why the P5 wheels whent on with out spaces. Hope this helps
