Brake Shoe Relining

Van recently failed MOT due to brakes (badly) out of line.

Took everything apart and found the brake shoe linings were knackered.

Had them sent off to Paul at Powertrack, costing £15 each to have relined, and with a better (softer) lining than the usual, hard lining you get nowadays.

Can't recommend Powertrack enough... the courier is costing more than the relining!

I remember seeing loads of places offering this service and can even recall one advertiser offering to sell you the stuff to do it yourself [:0] but always thought 'what a waste of time' That was when new shoes where easily available and cheap. Where are you now, thank goodness for Powertrack [^]
