Brake inbalance

The van failed the MOT on brake inbalance. I had the drums off today but couldn't see any problem so brushed everything down and replaced with a small adjustment.
Is brake inbalance one of the "features" on the Commmer ?

I think Jessica had that, I just readjusted them and tweaked the handbrake cable and it was ok.

If you adjust the front brakes by the book, ie just dragging and then back off the adjuster a notch or two in my experience they will almost always pull to one side, a few years ago my MOT tester allowed me to play around with the adjustment whilst the van was on the rolling road in the end I managed to get 'em 100%

Try this, set them as above and roadtest, if the pull towards say the drivers side then slacken off that sides adjuster a couple off notches a road test again, keep going until everything feels ok, up on stands my van has one wheel rubbing slightly the other side is 8 notches off dragging and spins completly free but the brakes work perfectly!
