bin away...

Hi Gang - just wanted to say hi as I've been away for so long! It felt like everytime I was posting it was another "Commers in the Snow" post. Been rather busy at work so having no time for commering or posting I'm afraid.

Jessica is now up and running again ready for the spring season. We took her out to the seaside for a shakedown last weekend but the fuel vaprorised so I have another job to do!

I'm quite chuffed with myself with respect to the over winter work. Her snout got rebuilt, and the front valance and a couple of cupboard doors. Also the passenger door got (badly) repaired.

Anyway enough of my waffling - have some piccies by way of an apology for not being around

Rupert

thanks chaps - can't promise to be back to my previous levels of babbling just yet as work is still bonkers, but with Jess on the road, my intrest is up again.

I forgot to mention she has had three new front door cards (my wife didn't like the colour of the first one!) and my mum is repairing the seat covers and fitting linings to the curtains. Oh and she has one new door seal - hopefully I'll get round to doing the otherone soon.

Looking nice, clear lenses for Peggy eventually as well.

If I told you I was a pathological liar, would you believe me?
Peggy's got Sounds

You can't beat a white Commer! Lovely. I don't remember this van though. I'm pro-clear lenses too, will get some myself when I've enough pennies.

looking lovely there Rupert:)

i too like the clear lenses, can't do that to Smurf with her Dodgey side light clusters:(

Lovely shiny motor, Rupert ! :) Congratulations, it looks very good.

And nice to hear that it's a family business - with your mum doing the seat covers and curtains.

Will you be heading south for the Commerfest in July/August?

hello everyone
Jostein, I am planning to make it to Martins but I don't have tickets yet and I'm not very good at planning that far ahead!

I can't remember where I got the lenses from but they are so easy to do!

Chamba, Jessica has been knocking around on the forum for a couple of years now some stuff here http://www.commervanfan.co.uk/bmm.htm and here http://66.129.69.181/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=1289&SearchTerms=76,autosleeper

and of course here...http://www.littleyellowcar.co.uk/

its rare for CommerVanFans to see her in the flesh as we're up in Scotland and even with an overdrive getting to Engerland takes a while!
