Hi all,

Scott mentioned some time ago whether there would be any interest in a meet at Billing Aquadrome in Northants. Well we thought we would resurrect the thread so... is anyone interested in meeting up Easter Bank Hol weekend???? Perhaps we could organise an egg hunt and bonnet competition to keep the kids interested. The cost per night is £15 per van but there are 3 bars, small fairground, Indian Takeaway/chip shop and the usual camp site shop.

We'd definately be up for that. Any chance to get away in the van.

Being easter weekend, do you think we'd need to book in advance?

And any site with 3 bars will keep Claire happy...

We're thinking about going over there next weekend for a reccie so will ask if we can book a specific area and get group discount. Just need a rough idea on the number of vans at the mo but I doubt we'll have to book in advance, we didn't last time we went and there was a Triumph meet the same day.
 
We would prob be up for it... do you think they can handle us though lol :D

I would have liked to have arranged an xmas meet with awards for the best decorated van but time seems to have sped up somehow... If anyone else has any ideas for somewhere Feb time that would be cool:) Hello Matt & Claire!! I owe you a crate of beer x
 
Hi Becca.

Don't worry about the beer. You helped reduce the weight of the van by drinking some.

As to a venue for a meet in Feb, could i suggest the Bahamas? Coz i was cold last weekend, never mind in Feb!

Like the idea of a best decorated van for Xmas though. Claire has gone off to see if the fairy lights will run off batteries.

We've been "lurking" but not posted much apart from the occassional reply recently, so i thought i'd bump this up as although i'm getting excited about the Birthday Bash at Martin's, i was wondering if anyone was interested in a meet before that, and this was the last one i'd heard talk of.

If I'm not working I'll be up for it. Work takes precedence though as being Bank Holiday weekend there could be a lot of garage funding to be earned.

im probably on - seem to have so much organised for this year, but its only up the road for me so will call in im sure if not stay
 
OOOHHHHHHHHHHH yes please I need to meet up with every one if this is only a w/e thing ??for any one wanting to make a week of it ? could move on to cambridgeshire afterwards make the distance worth it for those travelling long distance.
I am dying to get the new tent up :p
