With the rapid growth of information available on the internet, the day when Big Brother takes over comes ever closer.
Our local Council (Selby DC) have now started trolling the internet for information on it's residents. They are checking the sale details of all new houses that come on the market, against their records. If what you are selling is not what they have on record, woe betide you. A man comes knocking on your door to gather more information and ultimately increase your rateable value [!]
