Best underseal

Nearly got the underneath of the van clean,which is the best product to use Neutrarust or wax oil? but would like to paint the underneath after coating.
 
You need to paint before waxoyl otherwise the paint won't stick. Any bare metal should be protected by something like hydrate 80, Aquasteel etc. Then I'd paint the colour you want. Then waxoyl/Dinitrol etc.

when I got my van the underside wasn't too bad so I touched up the scaley bits with hammerite (nice silver!) and then used waxoyle underseal stuff everywhere - the thing I like about it is that it doesn't set so should self heal a bit - saying that I'm just about to lay it up for the winter so I can nip under there and see if my theory is correct.

Waxoyl is certainly the best underseal by far [^]
but the best rust preventer is used sump oil liberally brushed everywhere, and its free :p

snap, schultz can on the air hose gun tool and it is actually a fun job! Whcih reminds me I have a big can of waxoyl waiting to be pumped into the box sections. I always make sure all the 'drain' holes are clear afterwards just incase any water does get in their.
 
You could always vent your sump into box sections and cavities with a hose pipe, again for free, on a weekly/monthly rota.:)
